EPS, Inc. was incorporated in 1987. EPS Inc. has two integrated divisions, Consulting/Engineering and Manufacturing, with offices in Michigan, Florida and soon-to-be Chicago. We are the first company to combine aesthetics and functionality with a "back to basics" approach to installation and service of our DRY-AIR dehumidification product line.
What We Do
Our consulting/engineering division specializes in high humidity envelopes, primarily indoor swimming pools and natatoriums. Our manufacturing division builds a large and diverse line of high efficiency stainless steel and non-stainless steel reclaim dehumidifiers from 1.5 to 60 tons.
What Makes Us Different?
Originally, we manufactured and sold product through reps. It became apparent that the rampant litigation in the industry with expensive reclaim dehumidifiers was not as much to do with equipment, but more with the building enclosures, the HVAC design, and systems application. In 1990, we changed our business model by adding a Consulting/Engineering Division and converting our reps to a sales component.
Why Our Business Model Works
All potential clients are referred to our sales staff at our home office in Michigan. Based on the building information, a preliminary system package is assembled. The project is sent to the engineering division for review and proper equipment selection, and then back to sales for final proposal documentation. A detailed pricing and specification package is sent to the client. The pricing includes a consulting and engineering fee that is applied to the equipment purchase.
